Privacy notice.

HydraulicScout is operated by helloworksites.com. This notice describes our directory and contact form.

Information we use

Business profiles contain public business facts and source links. Our contact form collects your message, request type, related business and any name or email you choose to provide. You can send a request without an email address.

Why we use it

We use requests to check listing corrections, handle website support and respond to privacy questions. Sending a request does not subscribe you to marketing or send your message to a repair shop. We do not sell contact-form information or use it for advertising.

Hosting and security

Vercel hosts the site and Neon stores directory records and contact requests. When support email notifications are enabled, Resend delivers the request to the operator’s monitored inbox. These providers may process connection information, including IP addresses, timestamps and browser information, to operate and protect the service. The application uses a daily salted hash of an IP address for submission limits; raw IP addresses are not stored in contact requests. Necessary session cookies may be used for private staff access. Public browsing does not require an account. We have not enabled advertising trackers or visitor analytics.

Retention and access

Contact requests are accessible to the operator and authorized service providers, not other visitors. Requests older than 90 days are removed from the active database when the contact service processes a new submission. Provider logs and backups have separate retention. Directory business facts may remain while useful and supported. Use the contact form to request a correction or removal of information you submitted; include your request reference when available.

AI research and external links

AI-assisted research uses public business sources to propose directory records. Contact-form messages are not sent to the research AI. Shop websites have their own privacy practices; calling a shop or following its link puts you in direct contact with that business.
